This beautiful landmark provides an elegant and charming location for many types of events. The Society, founded in 1926, seeks to preserve this architectural jewel and enhance the quality of life in North Oak Cliff by providing a unique space for community and private events.

Local Organizations & Businesses Raise Funds for the Turner House Roof
A major problem with our roof was discovered in the spring of 2009. Well, Oak Cliff has really shown the love for Turner House. First of all, in November, the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League approved a $10,000 grant to the Society for repairs to the roof. At the end of December, Shambhala Body Gallery wrapped up a 3 month fundraising campaign to also help with the roof. And, the Bishop Arts Merchants' Association designated Turner House as beneficiary of the First Thursday event in December. Work on the roof has begun behind the scenes. Click here for more details.
