Derby Day at Turner House ~ Tickets

It’s Derby Day on the terrace and front lawn at Turner House,  Saturday May 5th, 2018!    A limited number of tickets are available.  Join us for live music, food, wine and specialty bourbon drinks, highlighted by a hat contest and fashion show.

Enjoy the day at Turner House and help raise money to restore and update this important and historic Oak Cliff landmark.

Craig Melde will discuss how the rehabilitation of a historic bank to a luxury hotel changed the course of downtown Dallas. The presentation will describe the journey from inception through seven years of development and its catalytic effect on development confidence downtown.

Craig Melde is the founding principal of Architects specializing in architecture, planning and historic preservation. He worked in the City of Dallas’ planning department and had served on the Dallas Landmark Commission, Preservation Dallas and Downtown Dallas, Inc.
